By entering the free prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) you agree to these terms and conditions.

The Prize Draw is open to everyone, aged 18 or over, except for employees of the Rathbones Folio Prize, their families, agencies or anyone else associated with this Prize Draw.

Each entrant must be a registered user on Twitter or register with Twitter in order to enter the Prize Draw.

To enter you must follow and retweet the users @theTLS and @RathbonesFolio and tag someone who might like to enter.

The Prize Draw begins at 12:00:01 GMT on Thursday 27 February 2020 and closes at 00:00 GMT on Wednesday 4 March 2020 (the “Closing Date”). All entries must be received by the closing date or they will not be counted.

Any entries by a person found to be using multiple Twitter accounts to enter the Prize Draw will be ineligible. The Rathbones Folio Prize does not accept responsibility for network, computer, and hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry.

You must not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic, sexually suggestive or other inappropriate (at The Folio Prize’s sole discretion) pictures. The Rathbones Folio Prize may, but has no obligation to, remove pictures that the Rathbones Folio Prize determines in its sole discretion violates these Terms and Conditions.

The Rathbones Folio Prize complies with the standard procedures laid down in the UK Data Protection Act to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept secure and processed fairly and lawfully. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes unless you have given us permission to do so.

The winner of the Prize Draw will be the first entry drawn at random within two working days of the Closing Date. The winner will be notified by a Tweet or private direct message on Twitter by no later than one week after the Closing Date. Sponsor’s decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into. There shall be one (1) winner of the prize.

The Prize shall consist of one set of the eight book titles shortlisted for the 2020 Rathbones Folio Prize.

Odds of winning the Prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be responsible for all expenses not specified in the Prize description above.

If the Prize is not claimed within 48 hours of the winner being notified, the Rathbones Folio Prize reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner.

The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-negotiable. There is no cash alternative. The Rathbones Folio Prize reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part thereof) for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original prizes in the event of circumstances outside of its control.

By entering the Prize Draw the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as the Rathbones Folio Prize may require.

Winner’s details will be available for 14 days after the Closing Date by sending a SAE to THE RATHBONES FOLIO PRIZE TWITTER COMEPTITION at the address below.

This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Twitter.

The Rathbones Folio Prize reserves the right to (i) cancel this Prize Draw, (ii) cancel or refuse any individual’s entry and (iii) amend these terms and conditions (and will use reasonable endeavour to notify changes to entrants and potential entrants).
